The John Martin XI are a charity sports team set up by a group of like-minded friends with the aim of supporting our local community through fundraising and organising various sporting events.
Our initial fundraising focuses on raising vital funds for Cure Leukaemia. In 2025 John Martin, the father of two of our players was unfortunately diagnosed with Actute Myeloid Leukaemia. Both Rob and Johnny wanted to do something to show support after his diagnosis and the team was cerated.
Both Rob & player/manager Conor are preparing for upcoming marathons in Paris and London and thanks to the support and generosity of close friends and family of JMXI we’ve currently raised over £2,800 across both charity pages with a lot more to come
